As I mentioned, time management skills can affect your stress levels and your stress level affect your time management. You need to work on building both.
Effective time management will reduce stress and improve productivity. One important skill that helps this is prioritizing tasks based on their importance and urgency. This can help you stay focused and avoid feeling overwhelmed by a long to-do list.
It can also help to break tasks down into smaller steps. This can help you stay motivated and avoid procrastination. It's much easier to look at one baby step and feel like you can accomplish it than one gigantic task. It helps reduce the overwhelm.
Finally, it's important to set realistic goals and deadlines for yourself. This can help you stay on track and avoid feeling stressed or overwhelmed. We expect too much from ourselves all the time. There are only 24 hours in a day, and you do need to eat and sleep.
Stop trying to cram 40 hours of work into one day. Remember to be kind to yourself and celebrate your accomplishments along the way.
By incorporating these strategies into your life, your stress will go down while your productivity will go up.
